Carissa Taylor has over 25 years experience dancing, and 15 years teaching dance. She has danced with Ballet West, The Royal Ballet Company, St. Petersburg Ballet, Odyssey Dance Theater, Utah Jazz Dancers, AnDair Irish Dance Company, Crawford School of Irish Dance, Scariff and Hardiman School of Irish Dances and Drake Irish Dance. She has placed dancers with Ballet West, Odyssey Dance Theater, Utah Jazz Dancers and in the top 20 of So You Think You Can Dance on Fox TV. Several of her dancers tour with artists such as Lindsey Stirling & Mia Michaels, perform on television tours with World of Dance, dance professionally in Europe, and dance as NBA dancers. She has qualified herself and trained dancers who have competed at the Irish Dance World Championships for multiple years. Carissa has competed in and placed in every competition she has ever entered. She has danced with many professionals and in many states and continues to seek out the best technique training available to dancers today.

Khaliqa Wheatley comes to us from Ventura County, California by way of the Military thanks to her Loving Husband, Micah. She has trained under Mia Michaels, Tyce Diorio, Wildabeast, Wade Robson, Mecca Vazie Andrews and many, many more throughout San Franciscio, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Colorado. Khaliqa was a resident company member with Interweave Dance Theatre and trained with the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company. She has been classically trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Ballroom, and instructed Zumba for many years. Khaliqa has trained many students to win competitions, move on to be premiere company members, and perform with worldwide dance tours. Khaliqa encourages all of her dancers to have fun, try hard, and trust the process. Khaliqa is very excited to work with the talented students of Southern Dance Company!
Hip Hop Instructor
Tasia Stewart fell in love with cheer, tumbling, and dance as a child in the small town of Andalusia, Illinois. Her passion led her to be a football and basketball cheerleader as well as being recognized for outstanding performance in cheer, dance, jumping, and tumbling as an NCA All-American Cheerleader. She has been USASF safety certified as well as AACCA judging certified. Tasia was head coach for national champion all-stars for nearly 10 years bringing advanced tumbling and competitive all-star cheerleading to Crestview. She has held cheer and choreography camps nationwide, coached local jr.high and high school cheer and tumbling for Laurel Hill, Baker, Paxton. Crestview, Davidson, Richbourg, & Shoal River. She has also trained cheerleaders who went on to dance and tumble for Disney, win 1st place at the World's cheer competition, cheer in college, become all-star cheer and gymnastics coaches, and also has 4 years experience as a vertical fitness instructor. Tasia believes she is here with a divine purpose to connect through movement by motivating and inspiring athletes and others to stretch beyond their perceived limits and fall in love with their authentic process!
Creative Movement Instructor
Lindsea Taylor started dance at the age of 3. She has taken dance in Ballet, Jazz, Cheer and Irish and has also taken Gymnastics. Lindsea is currently progressing in the Ballet field learning Pointe work and understanding the technique needed to become a master at the art of dance. Lindsea is talented in working with children and is excited to use her experience to teach children dance.
